Affiliated Residential Parks, Queensland is dedicated to creating parity between home owners in residential parks and park operators wherein equitable outcomes are establish that favour both parties through changes to the legislation (Manufactured Homes Residential Parks Act) offering the industry sound viability and growth for the future and benefit to all interested parties.

Our affiliated group of parks exist to keep each other informed, offer support when required, assist with interpretation of the Act and help with applications to the tribunal and the preparation of submissions and statements of evidence. As a forward, it is important to understand that by highlighting the legislative problems and exposing  the rogue operators, this may have a negative effect on the our ability to sell our homes, we must be prepared for this although in reality, we are captive of the legislation and industry practices now. Change will only come when the developers and rogue operators start loosing money and the government realise that the industry is not attracting pensioners/retirees anymore. It does not matter to the government that we home owners loose money, but when their wealthy mates start loosing out, change will take place to make the industry more attractive.
